Rob Masters, Head Distiller

Rob began in the distilling industry in 2007. Since then he has developed, produced and sold his own signature brand of gin, has been the master distiller for three distilleries and has consulted on distillery projects all over the country. Rob was a co-founder of the Colorado Distillers Guild and sat as President for 2 terms. He’s active in the American Craft Spirits Association and sits on the convention committee as well as the selection committee for the Step UP foundation, a training entrepreneurship program for underrepresented professionals looking to get into the industry. Rob lives on the north side with his wife Heather, son Henrik and dog Juniper.

Gabe Toth, Lead Distiller-Loveland

Gabe is an experienced craft distiller, brewer, and writer. After working at Santa Fe Brewing Co. as head brewer, he transitioned to learn distilling at Santa Fe Spirits. Toth worked as head brewer at Twisted Pine Brewing Co. in Boulder, Colo., winning a silver medal at Great American Beer Fest, before starting as lead distiller at The Family Jones. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications and sociology, brewing and distilling certificates from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, and a multidisciplinary master's degree focused on sustainability and supply chain management. He was a fellow with Boulder regenerative agriculture nonprofit Mad Agriculture as part of his graduate studies, partnering with Root Shoot Malting/Olander Farms and studying the Colorado grain supply chain and opportunities for localization. Toth has written books on food fermentation and floor malting, and numerous articles for distilling and brewing publications. He lives in Longmont with his wife Stefanie and dog Reuben.

 

Jamie Burns, Lead Distiller-Denver

Jamie attended Michigan State University and graduated with a degree in Biosystems Engineering with a specialization in Fermented Beverage Science and Technology. After graduating, he spent two and a half years as a Production Supervisor with Anheuser-Busch at their Houston Brewery, and a little over a year with Cleveland Whiskey as their Head Distiller. Jamie recent finished his masters of Science of Brewing and Distilling from the prestigious Herriot Watt University in Scotland. Jamie lives on the North side with his wife Ali and dog Basil.

 

Bryan Johnson, Production Manager - Loveland

After many years in the craft beer industry, Bryan decided to join TFJ, bringing with him a wide range of skill sets including, brewer, cellarman, welder/fabricator, and mechanic. Bryan is currently overseeing all of the packaging and warehouse operations at our production facility in Loveland. When he is not putting the juice into bottles, he’s spending time with his family and 2 dogs, Tulie and Ayla,  at his home in Hygiene, Co. 


Sales & Marketing

 

MATT REILLY, DIRECTOR OF SALES

Matt has been in the beverage sales space for over 20 years, with experiences in production, wholesale and on the supply side.  Originally from the Midwest, his education and career provided him the opportunity to live on both coasts and even abroad in Australia for a spell before putting down roots here in Colorado in 2006. He loves splitting his time between playing around in the kitchen and in the outdoors, but will always find time to put something delicious in a glass and enjoy some good conversation.

 
 

Derek guilin, on-premise & direct sales

Derek is the longest standing member of the family outside the founders and for good reason. Derek is our Swiss army knife when it comes to marketing, sales, the Spirit House, outside markets and more. Derek is a native of the Bay Area, and is a die hard Giants and Niners fan. When Derek has time off (HA) you can find him traveling the world playing disc golf.

Derek lives in Arvada with his dog Lou Seal.

Danny Rozmes, retail specialist

After careers in the education and hospitality industries, Danny came to The Family Jones with the confidence to strike up a conversation with anyone. He is driven, has high aspirations for success, and has a passion for making connections with people and supporting those around him. He is a natural match for our sales team and a valuable asset to our family. He is excited to spread the word about our craft spirits and cocktails.

DEnielle Nadeau, CMO

Her love of learning, travel, food, and people has culminated over the years in a variety of educational and professional accomplishments. Since 2008, Denielle has been a part of the Edible Beats marketing and operational team.

Rene Doubleday, Marketing Manager

Rene has been involved in The Family Jones since the beginning helping to form the entity and set up business operations. Today, she focuses primarily on marketing, working with each department to showcase the brand. Rene has 15 years of marketing experience as a partner in a boutique Denver advertising agency. She is a Denver native and has worked in marketing, advertising and events for the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Avalanche, and Walt Disney’s World On Ice to name a few.

Paul Tamburello, CEO

Paul is a Denver native and most notably known for his adaptive reuse real estate development in Denver. His passion for building community emerges in every project, including The Family Jones. Paul is also owner of the ever-expanding Little Man Ice Cream Company.

Jack Pottle, CFO

Presently serves as the managing director of Viridian Investment Partners, a Denver based private equity firm focusing on the telecommunications sector. In addition to his Viridian work he serves on the boards of three Denver area companies and is also active in the Denver real estate market in both residential and commercial properties.

 
 

Tamsen Braam, spirit house general manager

Tamsen joins the team as Spirit House General Manager with 20+ years of experience in the service industry. Her fascination for spirits began at an early age in her grandfather’s local liquor store in Wisconsin. Since moving to Colorado in 2018, she has been recognized for her playful and innovative cocktail creations at Mister Oso, and served as Assistant GM and Events Coordinator at Forget Me Not. She has a natural knack for hospitality, constantly creating timeless and memorable experiences for guests who cross her path. Next time you're at the Spirit House, be sure to say hi and ask her about the new cocktail menu!
